Betty Matteson

Betty Matteson has a robust background in cardiac rehabilitation and health management, with significant leadership roles at the North Carolina Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Association, including Immediate Past President and Chair of the Employee Forum. At UNC Health Care, Betty served as the Cardiac Rehab Program Director, leading a multidisciplinary team and contributing to management strategies. Earlier experience includes roles as Vice President for the Piedmont Region and Exercise Specialist, with foundational education in Exercise Physiology and Health Care Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a BA in Religion from Duke University. Currently, Betty volunteers at Epworth United Methodist Church.
