Martijn van Zweden

Martijn van Zweden is an experienced professional in the field of nuclear safety and analytical chemistry. Currently serving as the Independent Nuclear Safety Oversight Manager at EPZ since August 2002, Martijn is responsible for overseeing and controlling nuclear safety. Previous roles include Senior Engineer Operations, where tasks involved analyzing incidents, coordinating multidisciplinary investigations, and conducting operational trials, as well as Chemical Technician, focusing on coordinating and executing (radio)chemical analyses. Prior experience includes working as an Analytical Chemist at SGS Environmental Services, Inc. Martijn holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Nuclear Engineering from Ghent University and a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Avans University of Applied Sciences. Additional educational qualifications include training at Lloyd's Register.
