Jim Sorboro

Jim Sorboro has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Jim is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at EQ Holdings Inc. Since joining Phillips and Temro Industries in 2015 as their Chief Financial Officer, Jim has led global finance, accounting, supply chain, and IT functions. Jim has driven improvements in IT infrastructure, user tools, and processes to enhance stability, simplicity, and scalability. Prior to that, Jim worked at Katun Corporation for ten years, where they held various roles, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jim was responsible for directing global finance and accounting activities and served as a key contact for private equity owners, lenders, auditors, and suppliers. Jim has also held director roles at Cypress Semiconductor, where they rose through the ranks and played a crucial role in designing operational strategies as a member of the Worldwide Manufacturing leadership team. Jim started their career at Kuehn-Pearson-Rufer as a Staff Accountant and later joined Sysco as an Inventory Control Manager. Overall, Jim's experience demonstrates their expertise in finance and their ability to drive organizational growth and financial success.

Jim Sorboro completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Miami University, between the years 1986 and 1990. Jim then pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1992 to 1996, earning their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance/Accounting.
