Ilana Mouritzen

Ilana Mouritzen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and public affairs. Currently serving as Managing Director at EQT Group since April 2022, Mouritzen previously held the position of Senior Vice President for Global Public Affairs at Blackstone from 2020 to 2022. Prior roles include Vice President and Deputy Head of Communications at News Corp from 2016 to 2020, and Chief of Staff in the Counsel Unit at the NYC Mayor's Office from 2014 to 2016, alongside directing communications and intergovernmental relations in immigrant affairs. Additionally, Mouritzen was an Assistant Professor on a tenure track at Stony Brook University from 2010 to 2014. Mouritzen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University between 1995 and 1999.
