Michal Kusmirek

Michal Kusmirek, ACCA, currently serves as Vice President of Investment Services at EQT Group, overseeing portfolio management for EQT Ventures funds since January 2022. Prior to this role, Michal held various positions at KPMG Luxembourg from September 2015 to December 2021, culminating in a Senior Manager role specializing in Alternative Investment Funds with a focus on Private Equity and Venture Capital. Michal's experience includes managing audits of complex structures and engagement with financial products from the EIB Group. Earlier roles included Manager and Senior Auditor at KPMG Gibraltar, where specialized knowledge was gained in the retail and wealth management sectors. Michal commenced the career as an Audit Senior at KPMG Czech Republic, focusing on manufacturing and retail industries. Michal holds a Master's Degree in Business Law and Business Valuation from Prague University of Economics and Business, obtained between 2006 and 2012.
