Patrick Hazelwood

Patrick comes to Equa with a wealth of experience, having just retired from being CEO of Excalibur Academies Trust which currently has 10 academies. His previous role was as Principal of St John’s International Academy Marlborough which was rated as an “Outstanding School” during his tenure. In addition, he is an experienced Ofsted/Tribal inspector and a Visiting Fellow at the International Centre for Strategic Leadership & Learning at the University of Bristol.

Patrick is well known for his regular contributions as a key note speaker on various topics which include themes around the Curriculum, Innovation and Global Education and has also contributed to several publications.
