Roger Townsend

Roger brings strong commercial business leadership to Equa, with large scale P&L, business development, including start-up businesses and change management expertise, coupled with corporate governance non-exec experience. His career includes roles with Accenture, Eagle Star, Threadneedle Asset Mngt, BAFS / Zurich Financial Services, Xchanging and Bank of New York, at MD and board level, including developing corporate governance and working at significant scale with revenues ranging between £25m to £750m and headcounts ranging up to 2500.

His non-exec experiences includes Audit and Risk Committee roles and chair of the Remuneration Committee at Tesco Underwriting. Roger is a passionate believer in the importance of education in promoting social mobility and social cohesion.
