Gary Alway

Gary Alway has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Gary started their career at Dell in 2000 as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at BAE Systems in the same role. In 2005, they joined IQ Systems Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer and stayed until 2006. Gary then worked at ELCA Vietnam as a Quality Assurance Manager from 2007 to 2010. In 2012, they had brief stints at blinkbox and Financial Times as a Software Engineer. In 2013, they worked at NET-A-PORTER and City Index in the same role. Since 2014, they have been working at Equal Experts as a Full Stack Engineer.

Gary Alway obtained a 1st class degree in Computer Science from the University of Reading, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following qualifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional in July 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional in June 2022, AWS Certified Database – Specialty in March 2022, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate in October 2020, AWS Certified Developer – Associate in September 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in September 2020.
