Ishmael Muzika

Ishmael Muzika has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and systems management. Ishmael started their career as a Software Engineer at Soft-IT Consultants International in 2010 and worked there until 2011. Following that, they joined Connect Africa Outsourcing as a System Support Engineer from 2011 to 2012.

In 2014, Ishmael joined Lupane State University and held multiple roles including Programmer from 2014 to 2015, Software Engineer from 2015 to 2018, and Systems Manager from 2018 to 2019.

In 2020, they moved to Qubedlab as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until December of the same year. Currently, they are employed at Equal Experts as a Software Engineer, starting in December 2020.

Overall, Ishmael has gained extensive experience in software engineering, systems management, and support roles throughout their career.

Ishmael Muzika obtained a Master of Science Degree in Information Systems from the National University of Science and Technology (ZW), with a focus on Management Information Systems, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same institution, spanning from 2007 to 2012. In 2007 and 2008, Ishmael Muzika also acquired a CCNA certification from the CISCO Networking Academy, specializing in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager. Additionally, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023.
