Ruth Cannon

Ruth Cannon has extensive work experience as a Business Analyst. Ruth started their career in 2004 at United Utilities and worked there until 2010. Ruth then moved on to Swinton Insurance, where they held the role of Business Analyst from 2010 to 2011. Ruth then joined The Collinson Group as a Business Analyst for five months in 2012 before returning to Swinton Insurance as a Business Analyst from 2012 to 2016. Ruth then joined BNY Mellon as a Business Analyst from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Ruth is working as a Contract Business Analyst at Equal Experts since March 2017.

Ruth Cannon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Economic History from the University of Leicester. In addition to their degree, they also hold various certifications including an Agile Foundation Certificate from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in January 2017), an International Diploma in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in October 2014), a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance (obtained in June 2014), a Systems Modelling (UML) certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in May 2014), a Requirements Engineering certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in March 2014), a Business Analysis Practice certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in December 2013), and a Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in September 2013). Most recently, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2020.
