Vikas Sachdeva

Vikas Sachdeva has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Vikas started their career in 2008 at Visa Europe as a Software Consultant and later transitioned into a Software Engineer role. In 2015, they worked as a Software Consultant at Sky before joining Direct Line Group in 2016 as a DevOps Engineer. Vikas then moved to Lloyds Banking Group in 2018, where they continued their role as a DevOps Engineer until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at RSRCHXchange, A Liquidnet Company, again as a DevOps Engineer. In 2020, they joined Liquidnet as a DevOps Engineer and continued their tenure until 2021. Currently, since 2022, they are working at Equal Experts as a DevOps Engineer.

Vikas Sachdeva completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications over the years. In July 2018, Vikas became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional through Amazon Web Services. Then, in May 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Speciality certification, also from Amazon Web Services. In October 2019, they became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator through the CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation]. More recently, Vikas obtained the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services in November 2020. Additionally, in September 2020, they achieved the AZ-301 Microsoft Azure Architect Design certification from Microsoft, and in the same month, they completed the Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions certification, also from Microsoft.
