Sanjay Kishore has a B.A. from Duke University and M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He previously organized campaigns to enroll uninsured Americans in coverage; during medical training his advocacy and writing centered on universal health care, expanded access to addiction treatment, and racial justice in medicine. He recently completed an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where he focused on chronic disease care (including diabetes, hypertension, and opioid use disorder) at a federally-qualified health center.
