Daniel Kelly

Daniel Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Daniel currently works as the Head of Media at the Equality and Human Rights Commission since October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Communications and Stakeholder Manager Scotland at the same organization from January 2022 to September 2023.

Before joining the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Daniel worked at Public Health Scotland as a Senior Communications Officer from April 2020 to December 2021.

Daniel also has experience in the healthcare sector, having held various communication and marketing roles at NHS Health Scotland. Daniel was a Senior Communications & Engagement Officer from April 2019 to April 2020, Senior Marketing Officer from September 2018 to April 2019, and Marketing Officer from April 2017 to September 2018. Daniel also served as a Strategic Development Officer from October 2015 to April 2017.

Daniel began their career at The Scottish Government as a Policy Support Officer from January 2014 to July 2015. Daniel'searliest work experience was as a Volunteer Advisor at Citizens Advice from October 2010 to June 2011.

Daniel Kelly completed their education at the following institutions:

- The Royal High School, Edinburgh from 2002 to 2008.

- University of Glasgow from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained an MA (SocSci) degree in Politics and Public Policy (Joint Honours).

- University of Strathclyde from 2012 to 2013, where they earned an MSc degree in Marketing.
