Shane M. Stahl

Shane M. Stahl is the Communications Manager for Equality California, helping to develop messaging and strategic communications planning to advance the organization's larger mission. Prior to EQCA, Shane was the Digital Communications Manager for Freedom for All Americans, the national bipartisan campaign to pass comprehensive LGBTQ+ nondiscrimination protections like the Equality Act at the federal level. During his tenure, Shane helped usher in historic pro-equality victories at the ballot box in places like Massachusetts and Alaska, as well as legislative wins in New Hampshire, Virginia, and New York among others. Additionally, he was part of the team that helped to deliver the first-ever successful House vote on a comprehensive LGBTQ+ nondiscrimination bill.
