Sabrina Kovalcik

Sabrina Kovalcik has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Sabrina currently holds the position of Vice President, Controller at Equality Health since May 2023. Before that, they served as the Senior Director & Controller from December 2020 to May 2023 at the same company.

Prior to joining Equality Health, Sabrina worked for Circle the City as the Interim CFO & Controller from June 2020 to December 2020. Sabrina also served as the Controller from October 2017 to June 2020.

Sabrina has prior experience as a Controller/CFO at The Johnson Companies from May 2015 to June 2017.

Sabrina has also worked as the Vice President - Accounting/Finance at Progress Residential, LLC from December 2013 to March 2015, where they were responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the western region for a rapidly expanding single-family residential real estate company.

Before their corporate roles, Sabrina owned their own business, Sabrina Kovalcik, CPA, from January 2012 to November 2013, where they evaluated and recommended business acquisitions and sales, represented business owners in real estate transactions, and interface with other professional advisors on behalf of business owners.

Prior to that, they served as the Controller/CFO at The Stiteler Companies from January 2007 to December 2011, where they evaluated and recommended business acquisitions and sales and represented business owners in real estate transactions.

Sabrina started their career at Kovalcik & Ng from October 1996 to January 2007 as the Managing Member, where they developed strategies to minimize tax effects for business owners, established accounting procedures for various types of businesses, and assembled internal control systems.

Sabrina began their career at Toback CPA's, PC as a Shareholder from December 1987 to October 1996, specializing in partnership and limited liability company taxation, reviewing tax returns, and supervising professional staff.

Sabrina's early career started at Ernst & Young as a Senior Accountant from January 1985 to December 1987, where they prepared complex tax returns, conducted tax research, and reconciled balance sheet items.

Sabrina Kovalcik obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Arizona State University - School of Accountancy in 1984. Sabrina also holds additional certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant license from the State of Arizona and a Real Estate License from the State of Arizona.
