Maya Simek is the Legal Director at Equality Ohio, overseeing a statewide LGBTQ-serving legal clinic. Maya has experience as a Staff Attorney & Lecturer at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, as well as various roles at Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and other organizations. Maya has a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University College of Law and a diverse background in social services administration, psychology, and legal advocacy.
