Thomas Olaniyan

Thomas Olaniyan has over 12 years of work experience in various finance roles. Thomas started their career as an Account Assistant at Grant Thornton LLP in 2009. Thomas then worked as a Management Accountant at QUOTIENT BIORESEARCH (RUSHDEN) LIMITED from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Finance Manager at Infinis. In 2016, they worked as a Management Accountant at Travis Perkins plc and later as a Financial Controller at DONG Energy. In 2017, they joined Evercore as a Consultant and also became a Director at Macrohorizon ltd. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant at Artofus and as an FP&A Consultant at AlixPartners. From 2018 to 2020, they served as an Interim Head of Finance at City Forex and then as a Financial Controller at FairFx plc. Currently, they are the Director of Financial Control at Equals Money, a role they have held since April 2021.

Thomas Olaniyan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics from The University of Sheffield, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Thomas also has additional certifications in Advanced Strategic Planning for Directors from In Professional Development (InPD) and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with the FCCA qualification.
