Matt Smith

Matt Smith serves as the Energy and Sustainability Manager at EQUANS since June 2022, leading the energy and sustainability programme for Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust. Prior experience includes over a decade at the University of Worcester, where roles spanned from Energy Officer, focusing on sustainability policies and funding bids, to Sustainability Coordinator, ensuring environmental compliance to ISO14001:2015 standards. Earlier positions include operational roles at West Mercia Police and archival work at Barclays, along with project management and graphic design experiences in various organizations. Matt holds a Master of Arts in Global Political Economy from the University of Kassel and a BA in Business Economics from the University of Exeter, alongside specialized training in Energy Management.
