Martin Jordan has extensive work experience in the field of digital marketing and innovation. Martin started their career at ASDA as a Loyalty Analyst before moving on to Leeds Building Society as a Customer Information Manager. Martin then joined Premier Farnell plc where they held multiple roles including Marketing Coordinator, Customer Retention Team Leader, Global Business Development Marketing Manager, and Marketing Communications Europe & Asia Pacific. Martin also worked at Sportech plc as an Online Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for developing and executing online customer relationship strategies. Martin later joined Equator as the Marketing Director, overseeing various digital marketing disciplines and developing new business opportunities. At Equator, they also served as the Vice Chair of the Scotland Region for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and as the Director of Data & Innovation. Martin currently holds the role of Co-Chair at BIMA Scotland and Innovation & AI Lead at D3 | Digital Due Diligence. Throughout their career, Martin has been actively involved in industry events and has demonstrated a passion for driving change and embracing new technologies in the business.
Martin Jordan has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Marketing & Computing from the University of Stirling, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. In 1995, they also completed an ERASMUS Doctorandus program at the University of Groningen, where they focused on International Marketing, Industrial Marketing, and European Management. Additionally, Martin Jordan has obtained certifications such as the Hubspot Marketing Software Certified from HubSpot in September 2020 and the FCIM (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing) from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in August 2017.
