Kristen (Yizhe) Tang

Kristen (Yizhe) Tang has a diverse work experience. Kristen (Yizhe) started as a Research and Internship Program participant at Beloit College in 2017, where they stimulated simplified computational neuron models and analyzed data using MATLAB. In 2018, they worked as a Business Development Intern at Catalyst Medicine, where they reviewed literature, estimated market value, and collaborated with the engineering department. Kristen (Yizhe) also served as a Front Desk Receptionist at Beloit College Admission Office, handling phone calls and organizing student files. In 2019, they became a Student Consultant at Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, working in the Consulting Practicum Program. Kristen (Yizhe) then interned as a Marketing and Business Development Intern at Switch Global Inc. As an Investment Banking Intern at Alpha Capital Holdings, Inc., they gained experience in the finance industry. Currently, they are employed at Equilar, where they started as a Research Analyst and later became a Senior Research Analyst I & Data Quality Engineer Rotation. Kristen (Yizhe) is currently working as a Quality Engineer.

Kristen (Yizhe) Tang earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Beloit College, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Master of Engineering Management at Duke University, completing their studies from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Kristen obtained an Advanced SQL: MySQL Data Analysis & Business Intelligence certification from Udemy in July 2022.
