Bella Wu

Bella (Yuting) Wu is a seasoned machine learning scientist with extensive experience in energy systems and optimization. Currently serving as a Sr Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Equilibrium Energy since May 2023, Bella previously led the Forecast Research Track at Invenia Labs, directing projects focused on ML-based forecasting for financial and environmental utilities. Earlier roles include Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Invenia Labs, Energy Modeller at Aurora Energy Research Ltd, and a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, where complex signal processing techniques were developed. Bella has a strong foundation in machine learning methodologies, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, complemented by academic qualifications including a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor in Instrumentation and Control from Beihang University.
