Halil Sen

Halil Sen, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Halil is currently working at Equilibrium Energy as an Asset Optimization Technical Lead and as a Staff Research Scientist. In addition, they founded OptimOps and works as a Senior Consultant at Prium Portage - Portage salarial. Previously, they held positions at Mapotempo as a Lead Operations Research Developer and an Operation Research Developer. Halil also worked at Inria as a Researcher and a Research and Development Engineer. Furthermore, they collaborated with LIP6 - Laboratoire d'Informatique de Sorbonne Université and served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at Sabanci University. Halil was a Visiting Researcher at The Ohio State University and participated in the PEP-Trainee Development Program at Mercedes-Benz Turk A.S. Lastly, they held an internship position at Beko Global.

Halil Sen, PhD, started their education at Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from 2004 to 2008. Halil then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering at Sabanci University from 2008 to 2010. After completing their master's degree, Halil continued their studies at Sabanci University, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Engineering from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Halil Sen also gained expertise in Parallel Programming (MPI/OpenMP) through a certification obtained from the ITU National Center for High Performance Computing in 2011.
