Patrick Sheehan

Patrick Sheehan is a highly experienced data scientist with a focus on leveraging machine learning and predictive analytics to enhance energy forecasting and promote renewable energy adoption. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Myst AI since January 2019, Patrick contributes to critical efforts in combating climate change. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Nanogrid from July 2017 to April 2021, Patrick played a pivotal role in developing analytics solutions for distributed energy resources, securing investment, and establishing commercial partnerships. Previous roles include software engineering at Genability, where Patrick developed optimization algorithms and managed production infrastructure, as well as significant leadership positions during academic tenure at the University of California, Davis, including serving as a Student Assistant to the Chancellor and a Student Senator. Patrick holds a Master's Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
