Paul Hummel

Paul Hummel, CFA has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Paul is currently working at Equilibrium Energy as a Senior Principal Quantitative Analyst and Financial Trading Strategies Architect. Prior to this, they held roles at Bogle Investment Management, where they were a Partner, Portfolio Manager, and Research Analyst responsible for managing a global multi-billion dollar quantitative hedge fund. Paul also worked at Family ACCESS of Newton, serving as a Facilities Committee Member and Board Member, and played a key role in crafting an investment policy statement and managing the agency's endowment. Additionally, Paul was a Co-founder and Principal at Inference Group LLC, where they oversaw asset management and directed research initiatives. Paul began their career at Long-Term Capital Management, LLC as a Portfolio Strategist and Equity Trader, and at Raytheon, where they worked as a Flight Control Systems Lead Engineer and Guidance and Control Design Engineer. Their work at Raytheon included leading design teams, securing contracts, and improving the effectiveness of tactical missiles.

Paul Hummel, CFA holds an MBA degree from MIT Sloan School of Management (1995-1997), a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University (1992-1993), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University (1986-1990).
