Dave Kensell

Dave Kensell has a strong background in web development and project management. Dave'smost recent role was as a Senior Full Stack Developer at EquiLife, where they designed, developed, and maintained proprietary applications and APIs using .NET and Azure. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Developer at the same company.

Before joining EquiLife, Dave worked as a Web Developer at goPure Brands, where they elevated operations and marketing through the development of custom functionality for e-commerce using Shopify's AJAX, REST, and GraphQL APIs. Dave also built custom Shopify apps and leveraged AWS cloud. Dave improved customer acquisition through projects such as the development of a Vue.js SPA for personalized shopping and a custom tiered BOGO offer with Shopify Scripts.

Dave also has experience as a Site Operations Manager at Ingrid & Isabel, LLC, where they optimized the Shopify Plus site to achieve the highest grossing sales months in history for the largest maternity brand in the USA. Dave developed custom solutions and implemented third-party solutions for features like automated product creation, product filtering, personalized shopping, and media handling. Dave also developed new theme components, Shopify Scripts, and Netsuite tools.

Prior to these roles, Dave worked as a Managing Editor & Web Developer at Pixelz Inc, where they developed websites and wrote content on e-commerce imagery. Dave also has experience as a Registrar Liaison Manager and Senior Project Manager at .WS ccTLD Registry, where they were responsible for the registrar sales channel and worked closely with registrars, web developers, and accounting. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at DomainCostClub.com, where they helped launch the registrar and worked closely with web development teams, registries, and major registrants.

Dave Kensell obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Literature and Writing Studies from California State University San Marcos, completing their education from 2012 to 2014. In addition, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022.
