Jeanette Ampudia

Jeanette Ampudia has over 20 years of work experience in the field of immunology and research operations. Jeanette currently serves as the Associate Director of Immunology and Research Operations at Equillium, Inc. In this role, they design experiments, organizes and maintains data files and reports, and stays up to date on relevant research through literature reviews and seminars.

Prior to their current position, Jeanette worked as a Scientist/Project Manager at Equillium, Inc., where they liaised with contract research organizations and collaborators in various disease indications. Jeanette also provided support as a visiting scholar for a local collaborator and assisted in defining and implementing strategic goals for the scientific and clinical teams.

Before joining Equillium, Inc., Jeanette worked at aTyr Pharma as an Associate Scientist and later as an SRA II. In these roles, they developed key in vitro cell biology assays, conducted flow cytometry analysis, and contributed to the publication of research findings.

Jeanette also gained experience at Takeda California as an SRA-Contractor, at BioLegend as a Research Associate III, and at TSRI as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant II. At TSRI, they conducted independent research projects, mentored and trained interns, and gained expertise in mouse work, flow cytometry, and fluorescent microscopy.
