Karen Chrismas

Karen Chrismas has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the software industry. Karen'smost recent position was as the Head of Security Process at Equiniti, where they were responsible for managing security protocols. Prior to that, they served as a Quality Manager at Aquila Heywood, overseeing the integrated management system for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. Before that, at Envitia, they held the role of QA & IT Manager, responsible for quality assurance, IT, and information security. Karen also has experience as a self-employed Software Engineer, working on factory monitoring systems, and as a Software Engineer and System Administrator at Reflex Manufacturing Systems, specializing in factory automation systems.

Karen Chrismas studied at the University of Southampton from 1982 to 1985, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronic Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Worthing Sixth Form College from 1979 to 1982. In 2019, Karen obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
