Alessandro Seganti

Alessandro Seganti serves as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Manager at Equinix since July 2020, focusing on optimizing data center energy efficiency through machine learning techniques and overseeing the deployment of ML models in production. From July 2018 to July 2020, Alessandro worked as a Senior NLP Engineer and Part Leader at Samsung Electronics Polska, engaging in advanced NLP research. Previous roles include CTO and Data Engineer at Cognitum from December 2013 to May 2018, where Alessandro led a team in integrating formal logic and machine learning approaches, as well as contributed as a Data Scientist at Fondazione Pensiero e Linguaggio and a Founder at Medicinrete.org. Alessandro holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma and has engaged in international conferences and publications in the field of AI and machine learning.
