Dean Holroyd

Dean Holroyd is a Principal Design Engineer at Equinix, a position held since October 2000, specializing in network design and automation. With extensive experience in service provider network design and engineering, Dean has worked with major equipment brands including Juniper, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Arista, and Arbor, focusing on IP routing, MPLS, and datacenter networking. Previously, Dean served as a Network Architect for Telecity, where responsibilities included the architecture and design of a pan-European IP/MPLS network utilizing Juniper and Cisco technologies. Dean's career began at the UK Ministry of Defence as an Aviation Engineer, performing 3rd line maintenance on military flight systems. Dean holds a BSc(Hons) in Audio Technology, Acoustics and Audio Engineering from The University of Salford, completed in 1999.
