Kailong Sheng

Kailong Sheng is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and developing innovative technological solutions. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer and Engineering Lead at Equinix since May 2017, Kailong oversees a team of over 10 members and is responsible for delivering new Interconnection and Cloud Networking products. Previously, Kailong held roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Equinix, where the focus was on building a unified data management platform, and as a Software Engineer at Yahoo, contributing to the Hadoop Analytical Warehouse. Early career experiences include internships and consulting roles focused on database technology and corporate social responsibility research. Kailong holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Tsinghua University.
