Sean Siew is a qualified mechanical engineer and certified data centre professional, currently serving as the Sustainability & Energy Efficiency Principal at Equinix APAC. With over 25 years of industry experience, Sean has a comprehensive background in projects, research, consultancy, operations, and management, particularly focused on data centre operations and energy efficiency. Previously, Sean held various roles at IBM and CBRE, where they managed infrastructure resiliency and operational efficiency across data centres in the Asia-Pacific region. Sean earned a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester.
