Werner van Wyk

Werner van Wyk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Director of xScale Global Operational Excellence at Equinix since April 2025, Werner previously held the position of Operations Technical Director for the EMEA region at Yondr Group from February 2022 to March 2025, where responsibilities included managing technical assets in data centers. Prior roles include Electrical Area Manager at Sasol, overseeing site electrical systems, and various engineering positions encompassing project management and maintenance support for electrical equipment at both Sasol and Eskom. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Operations Management from North-West University and a Government Certificate of Competency in Electromechanical Engineering.
