Andreas Kayser

Andreas Kayser is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the acting Head of Global Competitor, Industry & Customer Analysis at Equinor since September 2018. Andreas leads a team focused on competitive and market analysis, specifically for oil and gas, low-carbon portfolios, and net-zero pathways. Previous roles at Equinor include Lead Geologist for new ventures in Angola and Eastern Canada, along with various leadership and project management positions at Statoil, where significant contributions were made to exploration and new ventures across multiple regions. Prior to this, Andreas held geologist and development engineer roles at BP and Schlumberger, respectively, and has a robust academic background with a PhD in Geology from The Philipp University of Marburg, complemented by executive education from Saïd Business School and Harvard Business School.
