Atle Hjorteland

Atle Hjorteland is an accomplished leader in business development and project execution, currently serving as Vice President of Business Development, Project Execution at Equinor since March 2018. In this role, Atle manages CFO Business Development and Corporate M&A efforts and leads the Project Execution team. Previously, Atle held several vice president positions at Statoil from August 2001 to February 2018, overseeing global strategy and business development across various regions including Norway, North America, and South America. Atle's extensive educational background includes a PhD in Uncertainty Management and Decision Making from the University of Stavanger, complemented by qualifications from prominent institutions such as Duke Corporate Education and Delft University of Technology.
