Darren Gilbert is a chartered mechanical engineer and currently serves as Principal Engineer - Operations & Maintenance at Equinor. Previously, from 2019 to 2024, Darren worked as a Senior Pipeline Engineer on the Tyra Redevelopment Project at TotalEnergies. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2017, Darren held various roles, including Graduate Subsea & Pipeline Engineer and Senior Pipeline Engineer at TOTAL, where they focused on subsea pipeline integrity and operations. Darren earned a Master of Engineering in Civil & Structural Engineering from the University of Aberdeen in 2010.
