Ivar Balk

Ivar Balk is a Principal Engineer at Equinor, a position they have held since 2018 following the company's rebranding from Statoil. With extensive experience in system engineering and technical assurance, Ivar previously worked at GE Oil & Gas and Statoil in various roles that focused on early phase projects and subsea systems. They began their career as a Research Scientist at ABB Corporate Research and later took on senior engineering roles at Vetco Gray. Ivar earned a Cand. Scient degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Oslo between 1987 and 1994.
