Marit Moxnes

Marit Moxnes possesses extensive experience in the field of geology and energy exploration, currently serving as a Subsurface Manager at Equinor since December 2014, with a focus on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and project management. Prior roles at Equinor include Leading Geologist and Leading Explorationist, emphasizing area development and geological evaluation. Moxnes spent nearly a decade at Statoil, where positions ranged from Leading Geologist in Reservoir Geology to Principal Geologist, leading various projects in reservoir geomodelling and international business development across South America, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Middle East. Moxnes began a career at Statoil as a Petroleum Geologist and Senior Geologist, specializing in structural geology. Marit Moxnes holds a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
