Simon Underwood

Simon Underwood is an experienced professional in marine and logistics management, currently serving as the Leader of Technology Management for Cables & Subsea Installation at Equinor since June 2016. Underwood has held multiple roles at Equinor, including Marine & Logistics Manager and Planning, Marine & Logistics Leader for the Dudgeon Offshore Wind project. Previously, Underwood worked as a Vessel Representative and held various management positions at Nexen from August 2008 to July 2015, and served in operational excellence and compliance roles at Capita Secure Solutions and Services. Earlier career experience includes leadership roles at the UK Ministry of Defence. Simon Underwood holds a Bachelor's degree in Risk and Security Management from the University of Portsmouth, completed in 2005.
