Stian Meringdal

Stian Meringdal is a seasoned commissioning process engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently employed at Equinor since May 2018, focusing on the Martin Linge project, specifically as the system responsible for the fresh water maker system and reverse osmosis. Prior to this, Meringdal worked at Statoil for a brief period on the same project and held various roles at Total from 2014 to 2018, including process and commissioning technician positions related to the Martin Linge platform. Earlier career experiences include roles at Schlumberger, DONG Energy as a control room operator, Norsk Hydro as a process technician, and IKM Testing AS for pressure testing. Meringdal holds multiple educational qualifications, including process operator training, electro-mechanical engineering, and drilling and well technology, obtained from institutions in Sunndal and Trondheim.
