Waterleau
Karina Pál is a Project Engineer at Waterleau since June 2019, bringing expertise in project management and engineering. Previously, Karina completed a Master Thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in early 2018, where a mathematical stochastic model of Influenza A Virus and defective interfering particles was developed using C++. In early 2016, Karina interned at Iberol - Sociedade Ibérica de Biocombustíveis e Oleaginosas, focusing on continuous improvement strategies through the Kaizen 5S methodology. Karina holds degrees from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, with education spanning from 2013 to 2018, and attended the British Council from 2017 to 2018.
