Andrew Henrey

Andrew Henrey has a strong background in data science and analytics. Andrew currently holds the role of Director of Advanced Analytics at Equinox Gold Corp. since 2023. Before that, they worked at Finning from 2017, progressing through various roles, including Global Data Science Leader and Data Science Manager. In these positions, they led tactical projects, provided mentorship and guidance to other data scientists, and managed small teams. Prior to their work at Finning, Andrew was a researcher at Simon Fraser University, where they focused on applying modern statistics to help clinicians diagnose and treat patients with arthritis. Andrew also served as an ACM Programming Coach, guiding undergraduate students and organizing programming contests.

Andrew Henrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Simon Fraser University in 2010. Andrew then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics from the same institution from 2010 to 2012. Andrew furthered their education by earning a PhD in Statistics from Simon Fraser University from 2012 to 2016.
