Gordana Vicentijevic

Gordana Vicentijevic joined Equinox Gold as SVP Project Development in May 2021. She brings 24 years of extensive experience in mining operations, project management, engineering design and construction of mining, oil and gas and chemical lants. Prior to joining Equinox Gold, Gordana was Vice President & Project Director for Kinross Gold, where she managed the feasibility study, engineering, procurement and construction of the Tasiast Phase 2 and the 24k Tasiast expansion projects. Before Kinross Gold, she worked on several high-profile mining projects at Fluor Canada Limited, including as a Deputy Project Director for the US$4.6 billion Cerro Verde Expansion Project. Gordana received her BSc (Mechanical in Mining) from the University of Belgrade and completed her Master’s Degree (Engineering Management) at the University of Alberta.
