Equip for Equality
Lauren Schrero is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Equip for Equality since May 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren co-founded and led The Nora Project as Executive Director from September 2017 to May 2023. Lauren's legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois from September 2015 to August 2017, and working as an Associate at Kaye Scholer LLP and Robins Kaplan LLP between 2008 and 2015. Lauren began legal training as a Student Attorney at the Michigan Poverty Law Project from January 2007 to May 2008, and gained initial experience as an intern on the Plaintiffs' Litigation Team in Aguinda v ChevronTexaco in 2006. Academically, Lauren holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Macalester College.
