Dean Hawkins

Dean Hawkins has a strong background in software engineering, with their most recent position being a Senior Software Engineer for equipifi since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at USAA as a Senior Software Engineer from 2020 to 2022 and as a Software Engineer I from 2020 to 2022. Before joining USAA, they were self-employed as a Java Developer, where they developed the architecture for a new responsive site at bidorbuy.co.za and introduced Sass to the site and team. Dean also provided ongoing support for product issues and bug fixes. Dean's earlier experience includes working as a Java Imagineer at bidorbuy.co.za from 2012 to 2017, a Software Developer at Cura Software Solutions from 2009 to 2012, and a Software Developer at Mobux Holdings Pty Limited from 2007 to 2009.

Dean Hawkins completed their International Baccalaureate degree in Economics, Computer Science, Math, and Biology at Het Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest International School from 2001 to 2003. Dean then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Knowledge Engineering at Maastricht University from 2005 to 2008.
