Alyson Yamada Shi

Alyson Yamada Shi is a seasoned professional in product design and management, currently serving as Senior Director of Product at EquipmentShare since February 2023. Previous roles include Director of Product at Alyson Yamada Shi Design, where design initiatives were led for various clients, and Head of Product at a stealth startup. With extensive experience at IDEO as both Senior Design Lead and Design Lead, Alyson managed multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful products and services. Educationally, Alyson holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing & Design Engineering from Stanford University, along with a high school diploma from The National Ballet School of Canada. Additionally, Alyson has held leadership roles in the Society of Women Engineers, contributing significantly to mentoring and programming initiatives.
