Hiroyuki Moriuchi

Hiroyuki Moriuchi is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in infrastructure investment and renewable energy. Currently serving as Director at Equis Development Pte. Ltd. since February 2020, Moriuchi has played a key role in restructuring the corporate structure and securing US$1.25 billion in funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board for infrastructure investments in Asia. Prior to this, Moriuchi held the title of Director at Equis Funds Group from October 2015 to February 2020, contributing to its prominence as the largest infrastructure investor in Asia with assets under management of USD 2.9 billion. Moriuchi also served as Investment Director at Nippon Wind Energy and Equis Energy, being a founding member of the Japan wind platform and leading significant investment decisions. Earlier professional experience includes a role as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at UBS from September 2006 to August 2014. Hiroyuki Moriuchi holds a degree from the University of Tokyo.
