Brian Van Heuverswyn has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Brian began their career in 1994 as an Electronic Technician at Compaq Computer Corporation. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as an I.T. Specialist at Team Technologies, followed by a role as Technology Manager at Krause Gentle Corporation from 1998 to 2004. In 2004, they joined August Home Publishing Company as an Electronic Media Director and remained in this position until 2015. That same year, they took on the role of Producer at The Woodsmith Shop TV Show, where they provided high-level management for the production of the show. In 2015, they also joined Active Interest Media as Vice President of Digital Marketing & Development for the Home Group. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Vice President & General Manager, Home Group at Active Interest Media, where they had operational and P&L responsibility for various divisions. Finally, in 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Active Interest Media.
Brian Van Heuverswyn completed their education in a chronological manner as follows. From 1988 to 1992, they attended Luling High School in Luling, Texas, and obtained their Diploma. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Texas State Technical College from 1992 to 1994, where they earned an A.A.S. degree in Electronic Technology.
