Belisario Fernández

Belisario Fernández is currently the Director of Wealth & Insurance Solutions for LATAM at Equisoft. Prior to this, they served as the LATAM Account Manager for IN MOTION - GIT from October 2015 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for generating new business in the territory and heavily participated in the solution definition/proposal development processes. Their main accounts included SURA, Metlife, BUPA, Galicia Seguros, Prudential, SANCOR Seguros, Consorcio Nacional de Seguros, and BBVA Seguros.

Before joining IN MOTION - GIT, Fernández served as the General Manager for Consis International from June 2013 to September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the LATAM operation, which included both the nearshore development center and the services excellence center located in Caracas, Venezuela. During their time with Consis International, Fernández implemented a Project Management Office to monitor 34 SW customization and implementation projects in the LATAM region. This led to enhanced visibility, new project management tools and techniques, improved risk management and greater customer satisfaction. Belisario also implemented an Agile SW development methodology, which improved productivity and quality immediately. In addition, Fernández implemented a complete SW Configuration Management Service and a SW Quality plan. As a result of these efforts, over 95% of code released by the factory was approved during QA's first testing iteration. Lastly, Fernández implemented a Talent Procurement plan which allowed "scarce talent" availability

Belisario Fernández has a SAP Plant Maintenance certification from the SAP One World Academy, a PM Certification Roadmap from Noguera KBR, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Universidad José María Vargas. Belisario also has a certification from ITSMF UK in ITIL FL, a certification from the Project Management Institute in PMP, and ASQ certifications in SW Quality Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt.
