Balthazar Cazac

Balthazar Cazac is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Managing Partner for Green Infrastructure at Equita since January 2023. Cazac has extensive experience as a Strategic Advisor at Abraxas Capital Management Limited since November 2017 and holds board member positions at Decal Renewables and FuGen Abraxas Wind 1, focusing on business development and wind energy in the Nordics. Cazac has been the Executive Chairman of Cautha since February 2006, where responsibilities include the development of utility-scale solar PV plants and M&A advisory. Previous roles include M&A Director for Sunrock and Renewable Energy Consultant for Cautha Sustainable Systems. Cazac holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Immunology from UCL and completed post-doctoral research in Molecular Pathogenesis at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
