Julie Collett

Julie Collett is an experienced corporate counsel specializing in securities law and insurance law, currently serving as Senior Director and Counsel at Equitable since June 2017. Previously, Julie held positions as Senior Counsel at Transamerica and Lead Counsel at Great-West Financial, where responsibilities included filing registration statements under the Securities Act of 1933 and drafting disclosure documents for insurance products. Earlier legal experience includes serving as an Associate at Montgomery Little & McGrew, focusing on various litigation aspects and real estate transactions, and as a Law Clerk at the 18th Judicial District. Julie holds an LLM in Tax Law and a J.D. from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, as well as a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
